It’s super hot (and dry) at the farm today and we work hard to keep our turkeys cool and comfortable with shade and misting sprinklers. During the peak of the heat we apply regular (and very welcome) light sprays of water directly to the birds, and they love the relief it brings.
This weekend we’ll be at Bentleigh Farmers Market on Saturday and on Sunday will be at Eltham Farmers’ Market. Thankfully it will be much cooler this weekend – see you there.
